Project Goals

The Frontier Days planning committee needed a cost-effective and efficient digital platform to promote Tecumseh’s annual citywide festival and manage key event logistics. With no central system in place, volunteers had to rely on scattered communication and manual processes. The goal was to create a public-facing website that could serve as a reliable hub for festival information, contact management, event registration, and sponsor promotion. Organizers needed the ability to sell sponsorships online, collect payment, and display sponsor logos and ads on the site. The platform also needed to support newsletter delivery, calendar announcements, and a historical visual identity that reflected the town’s legacy during the Land Run era. Affordability, ease of use for volunteers, and professional functionality were essential.

Client Testimonial

"Our small community has an annual festival that really needed an online presence to facilitate event registration and help us publicize the information in advance. In an amazingly short time, Leslie created a beautiful site, complete with historical photos and multiple registration pages for the different special events being held." - Beth Lyle, Frontier Days Chair

Measurable Impact

For the first time in its history, Frontier Days became a profitable event—earning over $8,000 in revenue after expenses were paid in its first year using the new digital platform. Previously not considered a revenue-generating effort, the event is now one of the Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce’s most successful non-dues revenue sources, having since been officially adopted and absorbed into the Chamber’s annual programming. The ability to manage sponsorships, registrations, and communications online played a critical role in its financial turnaround. In addition, a brand-new Facebook page was launched and Frontier Days quickly grew their following within the first year, significantly boosting community engagement and awareness.
